Rip Curl แบรนด์ต้นกำเนิดจากแดนจิงโจ้ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย โดยมีจุดเริ่มต้นจากสองเพื่อนซี้นักเซิร์ฟจากแถบชายฝั่งเมืองวิคทอเรียในปี 1969 ซึ่งเริ่มแรกโดยสองคู่หูอย่าง Brian Singer และ Doug Warbrick
